About Us
Stout Made was founded by myself, former COBB Tuning hard parts lead engineer, Josh Tenny, in order for brands to have a U.S. source for quality products at a fair price. I had been in your shoes for years trying to find a good source for parts manufacture. I had become increasingly frustrated with domestic companies that may have assembled a great part, but took too way too long to finish product and missed repeated ETA's by months. This can lead to an attempt to go overseas for product and lead to even more delays as prototype after prototype after prototype fit poorly if at all. Many times once a correct prototype is finally received, the production parts can vary as much as the prototypes due to poor QC. Trying to save costs can ultimately lead to far less than estimated cost reductions, huge delays, and less quality after it is all said and done. After years of exhaustive searching to find the right production facility I came to the realization that a new company needed to be founded that fit the needs of the majority of brands in the automotive aftermarket.
Thus Stout Made was conceived and I started drafting my own business plan for Stout Made with a strict set of guidelines.

Although the Stout Made brand is new, our experience, knowledge, and skills are the result of years of work in the field. We have the experience, a good work ethic, and an innovative spirit. These years of experience give you a head start in making a product that performs, lasts, fits, and is as time and cost efficient as possible.
- We can suggest methods and changes to a product to make it quicker and less expensive to produce.
- If you do not have the ability to prototype product in-house we can arrange to have a vehicle brought to our location, or we can travel to you.
- We are unique in that we are very flexible in batch sizes and will do small to medium runs.
- We also try to be very accommodating with scheduling and terms.
- We keep customer's information and designs confidential and the fact that you use us as your production facility will remain between us if you so choose. The fixtures that you paid us to make will only be used for your part.
Stout Made is staffed by proud craftsmen. We want every part we make to meet or exceed even the highest expectations of the client. We do all product assembly in-house using as many local and U.S. sources as possible. Some overseas sub-components may be used to meet price points that will keep you profitable and us in business. However those overseas products used will still be based upon quality rather than pure price.
